Cerritos Beach is a popular surf spot. Enjoy year round swells perfect for beginners and experienced surfers alike. Beginners can enjoy the 30 or 40 meters of shallow water and small white water waves while more experienced surfers can catch larger waves further out. Surf board and boogie board rentals and lessons available daily. Near shore swimming is perfect for water lovers of all ages and Cerritos is the only swimmable beach on the Pacific in the Southern Baja.

Whale watching

Grey whales make their annual migration South to the warm and tranquil waters of the Mexican lagoons. During the winter months thousands of wales will make this journey making whale watching a popular winter past time. Take a whale watching tour with a local experienced guide or simply watch from shore as dozens of these majestic creatures can be spotted daily.

Sport fishing

Cabo San Lucas is located a short 40 minute drive South of Cerritos Beach and is known as one of the sport fishing capitals of the world. Take a full or half day fishing charter or even a panga fishing boat right from the Cerritos shoreline.

Todos Santos

Just a short ten minute drive from Cerritos Beach lies the artsy village of Todos Santos. Dubbed "Pueblo Magico" or magic city by the Mexican government. The town has a more traditional Mexican feeling you won't find in Cabo San Lucas.

Right in the center of town is a Catholic mission architecturally preserved in it's original (mid 1700's) design. Just up the street from the church is a cultural center and museum where you'll find seasonal displays and exhibits dedicated to the rich and vibrant history of Mexico with a concentration on local tradition. Todos Santos is also home to the famous Hotel California rumored to be the inspiration for the Eagles hit song.

Perhaps best known for its image as an artists heaven, Todos Santos is home to a myriad of art and photo galleries. Todos Santos hosts an annual art and film festival attracting artists, filmmakers, musicians and tourists from all over the globe.

Entertainment

Cerritos Beach has much to offer in the way of day and nighttime entertainment. Local musicians play every weekend at the cerritos beach club, a five minute walk up the beach from the Sol Pacifico Cerritos condominiums. Every Sunday enjoy contemporary and classic jazz sung by recording artist Daline Jones. Before making the Baja her permanent home, Daline spent 10 years as the lead female vocalist at San Francisco's Harry Denton's Starlight Room.

Cerritos Beach

This is where the rock stars themselves are known to get away. Rock drummer Tommy Lee was recently spotted enjoying the surf, sun and warm hospitality of the Cerritos Beach Club staff. Film stars Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider go to sharpen their surfing skills. Chris "Bad Apple" from the UFC hung out at the Cerritos Beach Club after a great day of surfing and later sipped our signature Cerritos Tequila. The producer of Hellboy 2, Guillermo del Toro enjoyed our fresh shrimp and dorado Ceviche and and iced cold Pacifico. When MVP Jason Giambi is not hitting home runs for teams like the The New York Yankees, Oakland A's, or the Colorado Rockies you kind find him ripping it up at Cerritos Beach.
